Refund & Replacement Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Because every book we create is custom-made and uniquely personalized, all sales are final once your order enters production.

30-Minute Cancellation Window

CoziTales allows order cancellations up to 30 minutes after your order is placed. This gives you time to catch any last-minute changes or errors before production begins.

How to Cancel:

Contact our support team immediately at help@cozitales.com with your order number.

After 30 Minutes:

Your book generation begins and the order enters our review process. You cannot cancel, but you can make unlimited edits during the review phase before approving.

Note: Once you approve your book after reviewing it, production begins immediately and no changes can be made.

Review & Approval Process

All CoziTales books are custom-made to order based on your unique specifications. After you complete your purchase, we'll generate your complete book with all illustrations and send you an email with a link to review it.

During the review phase, you can:

  • Edit story text on any page
  • Regenerate illustrations you'd like to change
  • Update the book title and add a dedication
  • Make unlimited changes before approving

By approving your book, you confirm that:

  • You have reviewed all pages and illustrations
  • The character illustrations, story content, and personalization details are correct
  • You understand this is a custom product made specifically for you

Important:

Once you approve your book after reviewing it, production begins immediately and the book cannot be modified, edited, or canceled. Please review carefully before approving.

We do not offer refunds or replacements for:

  • Character appearance or illustration style
  • Story content you approved in preview
  • Personalization details (name, age, etc.) that you provided
  • General dissatisfaction with content you previewed and approved

We do offer refunds/replacements for:

  • Manufacturing defects (damaged binding, printing errors, etc.)
  • Shipping damage
  • Items that don't match our quality standards
  • Our error in production (wrong book shipped, etc.)

If you have concerns about your preview before ordering, please email help@cozitales.com. Once payment is complete, we cannot make changes.

Replacements and Store Credit

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If your order arrives with any of the following issues, we'll gladly send a replacement or offer store credit:

  • The book arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect.
  • There is a printing error caused by us.
  • The book received is different from what you ordered (e.g., wrong personalization, title, or image).

Request Process

To request a replacement or store credit, please email help@cozitales.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. Claims submitted after this window may not be approved.

Be sure to include:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Photos of the book and/or packaging if applicable.

Important: We review each case individually to ensure a fair resolution.

If approved, we'll process your replacement or issue store credit as quickly as possible.

Customer Input Errors

Please double-check all personalization details before submitting your order. We are not responsible for errors (including typos, incorrect names, or low-quality photo uploads) made by the customer during the ordering process.
